What to do to prepare your paper:

1. Read the paper format section concerning the paper format. This format should be used for the final version and is recommended for the draft paper submission.

2. Generate a postscript version of your paper, at most 8 pages long, including figures and references. All manuscripts must be in English.

3. Submit your draft paper following the Web-based paper submission procedure before May 1, 2000. (closed)
For MS-Windows users: Please be sure you are submitting a Postscript file that starts with the string "%!PS", i.e. without any printer commands. Files not conforming to this are rejected by the submission software. If your are unable to produce such a file or have problems with the submission procedure please send an email to asr2000@limsi.fr containing all the requested information in the submission form and include your "Postscript" file as attachment.

For final submission of accepted papers please send by email the PostScript file and paper number to asr2000@limsi.fr

Paper format recommendations:

1. The paper should be between 4 and 8 pages long, using a single-spaced, two column format and a 10 point Times-Roman font.

2. All texts and figures must be contained in a 175 mm x 240 mm image area. The proceedings will be printed on A4 paper (210mm x 297mm).

3. The left margin should be 19 mm (.75 inch) and the top margin should be 25 mm (1.0 inch). Each column should be 83 mm wide, with a space of 7 mm between columns.

4. Follow the style of the Sample Paper that is provided, in particular for the format of the title, authors, addresses, abstract, heading, and subheadings. (The first page should have the paper title, author(s), and affiliation(s) centered on the page across both columns. Nine point type font should be used for the abstract as well as for all table and figure captions.) If the paper is typeset using LaTeX, you can download the style file asr2000.sty and sample file asr2000sample.tex.

5. Avoid colors as they will not be reproduced in the procedings. Do not put page numbers in the final version of the paper.
